 MaM Brena [Sophia] .. DOB April, 2007

MaM Brena was born April 2007, a rich silver NLP jennet; our first 2007 baby!  She was immediately confident and within a day was bossing her patient mom around. A sweet future alpha jennet for certain!  Great build and will throw beautiful babies if bred to the right jack.

MaM Cricket .. DOB April 4, 2005, loud brown spotted jennet

MaM Cricket was born in April 2005.  She is a beautifully spotted black/white, and has the sweetest disposition as well as being the farm clown!

 MaM HalfMoon .. DOB March 21, 2005, petite light brown jennet 

Here is our little HalfMoon at 2 days with mom.  This sweet faced jennet had a perfect birth from an experienced take charge mom who let us imprint the baby and give her shots without batting an eye.  Cookie's babies are all alert and hungry when first born!

DM Placido .. DOB 1994 homozogous black/white gelding

Here is DM Placido at 10 years. 
A wonderful stocky gelding we brought to our farm in February of 2004, in a blizzard!  'Spotty' needed to learn to trust after not having been handled for six years and he found the perfect experienced handlers!

McGillicutty .. Fixed Assets, black yearling gelding - 2006

This very nice looking little boy was purchased from a sale, with his pal.  We brought them to our farm and socialized, then matched them to a wonderful buyer who is dedicated to these guys!

McGoofy .. Fixed Assets, brown yearling gelding,  2006

This is little McGoofy, whose buyer has called him Sparrow.  He is McGillicutty's best friend and has routine adventures in his new beautiful barn.

Conan .. Fixed Assets, red/brown gelding, 2008

Conan came to us from Lil Bit of Heaven mini donkey farm in Indiana in February 2008, and stole the hearts of this years' first buyers with his warm and sweet face and demeanor. 

 

He is one of a pair of these neat geldings purchased by John Sullivan from near Rochester, NY in March 2008!

Clancy .. Fixed Assets, reddish/grey gelding, 2008

Clancy is another little guy from Lil Bit of Heaven in Indiana who has made a happy home with his new buddy, Conan!  

 

Clancy is much better looking than this goofy picture.

MaM Bailey .. April 2007 .. gelding

Tiny gelding out of Dewey Meadows Nigel and Dewey Meadows Miss Winston .. her first offspring!  This guy was teeny at birth, and at a year has just about reached 28".  Bailey has no light points and the shortest, cutest little face ever!  We carried this guy around with us in our arms for 7 months - he was our teddy bear boy with great manners, his dad's fabulous temperament and health!  We miss him so!

MaM Brodie .. April 2007 .. gelding

Brodie is the most handsome little donkey we've seen in these parts!  His dad is Dewey Meadows Nigel, mom is our teriffic clown, Jessie, the chocolate smart-ass!  Brodie is smart himself, with dad's behavior, mom's witty curiosity and ears that reach to the clouds!  He was sold along with MaM Bailey to the Kimmelman's in Wallkill, NY, where he joins 500 horses!  Yow!  We miss his social character.  His mom is being bred for a summer 2009 foal, so stay tuned for another perfect little one out of Jessie!

Fixed Assets Donovan .. dob 1/2007 .. gelding

    Little Donovan, the darkest chocolate boy - came to us from Indiana in February 2008 with the other geldings and though he took a while to get used to us, he is social, lovely and handsome as can be!  He has been sold as 1/2 of a pair to a lovely woman and her husband in Apalachin, NY where he is being spoiled for certain!  On a recent visit to them, I saw just how spoiled he is.. beautifully pared carrots for the little guys.  Wish I was a donkey sometimes!

Fixed Assets a Cappella .. dob 3/2007 .. gelding

    OK, so I have a favorite gelding every year... and Mike insists that we must part with them to their new forever homes.  This was the guy.  Don't tell the others though!  I tell them all that they're my favorite donkey during grooming and hugging.  a Cappella is the neatest little guy of the year!  He's not built quite muscular enough to be a herdsire, so was gelded by his Indiana breeder and sold to me to socialize, train and place.  He will love a lovely life with his pal, Fixed Assets Donovan in Apalachia, NY.  Lucky, Lucky owners!
