THIS Purchase Agreement is made on______________, 2008, by Michael and Eileen Broader [MarcellAss Minis]  [Sellers] to _______________________________(Buyers).

Sellers own and desire to sell _______________________,  Miniature Mediterranean Donkey(s), to Buyer, and Buyer desires to purchase this (these) donkey(s) from Seller, at the price and the subject to the terms and conditions below. Sellers can refuse to sell without cause prior to deposit, or returning deposit to any Buyer anytime prior to final delivery of the donkey.  This protects the donkeys from insincere or incapable buyers, and this is what our rule is.

In consideration of these statements and promises to one another,  Mike and Eileen and the donkey buyer agree to the following:

1. Sale and Purchase. MarcellAss Minis sells and conveys the donkey(s)  to Buyer and Buyer hereby purchases and acquires the donkey from MarcellAss Minis at the Purchase Price and subject to the following.  Also, Buyer has inspected or hired a vet to inspect the animal prior to purchase or deposit, or otherwise accepted the selected donkey for purchase.

2. Purchase Price and Payment.  The Purchase Price for the donkey(s): $____________ dollars AND the cost of any required or Buyer-requested health check, Health Certificate, blood test, etc. which is to be paid to the Seller (less any deposit $ __________) at the time the Buyer acquires the donkey.

3. The Delivery of the donkey:   Delivery will occur on a date mutually agreed to by both parties, but not longer than 30 days after deposit it taken to hold the donkey(s) selected by Buyer unless a mutually agreeable alternate time is finalized.  Seller does not currently have a horse trailer, so Buyer will need to arrange transportation.

4. Seller's Other Warranties.

-         Seller guarantees that the donkey(s) is free and clear of any and all liens and encumbrances.

-         Seller warrants the health condition of this animal for 30-days once leaving Seller’s farm. [Seller is not able to warranty the health or safety conditions of any property but our own].

-         The donkey is up to date on all of the following vaccinations:

o       Rhinopneumonitis, E&W, Influenza

o       ESE (given at birth on our farm)

o       Tetanus Toxoid 

-  The animal has had no serious illness or injury since birth or purchase by MarcellAss Minis except anything that has already been disclosed to the Buyer prior to us accepting your deposit.

-  The animal is up to date on de-worming.

-  The animal is up to date on all hoof trims.

5. Seller will provide Buyer with the following items when Buyer acquires the donkeys:

o       Halter

o       Lead rope

o       Health Record

o       Registration Certificate or copy of the application for same (if applicable)

o       Transfer of Ownership form (if applicable)

o       Bale of donkey’s home hay for diet transition

6. Buyer will pay boarding expenses of $2.00 per day per donkey purchased if not picked up within 30 days of this signing.  Exceptions for suckling to weanlings, and of course if both parties agree to another time period.

7. Seller will accept the animal (s) back onto the home farm if there is any reason that Buyer cannot keep the animal (Welcome Home Policy) and as long as Sellers have the room and means to accept the animal at that time.  This agreement is entirely for the benefit of the donkeys.

TIPS for NEW OWNERS:

We wish you the best with your new family addition!  Be sure to call with any questions, anytime day or nite!  315  380-0926.

We order all vaccines and pet supplies from  Jefferspets.com .. hoof conditioner, hoofpicks, Horseman’s Dream coat conditioner, etc. 

We use Tractor Supply Company for 'foal' sized horse flymasks for all of our adult donkeys, and our 'Mineral Blocks with trace Selenium'.

Each of our donkeys is now on 1/2 cup daily Mini-Vite Lite by Blue Seal to acquire all necessary nutrients, vitamins and doing VERY well with it! 

Donkeys cannot be exposed to black walnut.  Shavings used for bedding must be PINE only.   

Bring or let your little ones have free access to shelter at all times!  Barns require ventilation. 

Heated buckets are the only way to keep winter water from freezing.  These little darlings will NOT drink cold water, and they must have fresh water 24/7 in unlimited supply. 

The donkeys LOVE walks with you on halter and lead - it's great exercise for both of you, while developing mutual trust.  

Don't let your family dogs in the pasture or turnouts with your donkeys. Dogs lose every time.  

REMEMBER:             

• Good Quality Hay (10% or LESS alfalfa) soft grass Timothy/Orchard grass hay 
• 24/7 access salt block WITH TRACE MINERALS & Selenium. 
• 24/7 access to fresh, ample water supply, NEVER iced over. 
• 24/7 access to shelter from rain, wind, snow 
• 6-7 week hoof trims!  
• Annual Vaccinations - Tetanus and E&W at a minimum. Influenza and Rhinopneumonitis also beneficial and given on our farm annually.

WELCOME HOME POLICY: 

If you find that you cannot continue to provide these things for your donkey(s), please call us and we will come for them immediately, no questions asked.  They are always welcome back on our farm!   Call ANYTIME with questions
